for new Parents from the First 5 Sonoma County. Research shows that a baby’s brain grows to 90 percent of its adult size by age three. What your child experiences in these years before kindergarten shapes the person he or she will become. From your first moments together, when you play, talk, sing, read and laugh with your baby, you are feeding his or her brain and helping it to grow. "Our daughter excelled at Faith Lutheran Preschool. She was very shy and very attached to her Mom when she started at the preschool. The teachers were very patient and understanding. She gained more confidence and grew socially making many friends. She enjoyed learning and her time at the preschool. Faith Lutheran Preschool prepared her to go to Kindergarten. Thank you. " DB "I was very satisfied with the preschool program! Thanks for your hard work. My child definitely improved at Faith Lutheran, it was way better than her previous preschool. It was a very good experience! The arts & crafts, playing with new friends were her favorite things to do. My daughter did very well overall, she still needs more practice on identifying the alphabet letters (distinction on upper and lowercase) and practice writing her name." MA "Yes, I was satisfied with the preschool program. I feel my child is prepared well for Kindergarten and I would refer someone else to the program. I liked the routine, letter study, playing time, weather and line leader/gentleman etc... plus lots of crafts." NN "My child's favorite part of the preschool was making friends with all his classmates." DB "My daughter has definitely improved socially by attending the preschool. She is getting prepared for Kindergarten w/ writing and reading. Her favorite part of preschool was playing outside w/ all of her friends." BK "We were definitely satisfied with the preschool program. We liked the themed weeks and loved the little field trips too! Our childrens favorite things were playing with friends and doing projects. We would have liked to have more opportunities to talk with the teacher." We had a great experience!" AK "My child enjoys learning now because you made it fun. You have a great staff of teachers who really cared about the program and the kids." Q "Yes, I was satisfied with the preschool program - all 3 of my children attended this preschool. I feel that the curriculum is better now than ever. The circle time, jobs/helpers, calendar time and running around in the play yard were all favorite activities." EF "We are very satisfied with the program for both of our children. We liked the projects that engage and build self-esteem. We would like more focus on handwriting. NG "My daughter's development over the past year or two has been healthy and continuous. I like the developmental skills as they are taught at the appropriate time. Her favorite part of preschool was music, singing, and helping." EFH "We were satisfied with the preschool program. Our son learned his letters, numbers and how to hold a pencil. He grew socially and enjoyed the Spanish lessons so much he wanted more. The teachers are very patient and comforting to the children. Thank you to the staff for their care and love for our kids. My only suggestion is to add more Kindergarten sight words." CB For more
